The annual Nelson Pine Industries Chamber of Commerce Business Awards celebrate innovation and creativity in the business sector and have been a highlight of the region’s business calendar for 29 years.
Winning an award provides you with an opportunity to gain profile, tell your story and acknowledge all the hard work your team has put in. The awards also offer you the opportunity to benchmark your business and gain expert advice on how you can continue to grow.
Entries for the 2017 Business Awards are now closed. Congratulations to all our entrants – find out more about them here.
The awards night is a black-tie dinner on Friday 3 November at the Trafalgar Centre. Don’t miss out on tickets to the event – last year was a sell out.
Thinking about entering in 2018?
All businesses who enter the awards gain valuable exposure, including coverage in the Chamber’s Commerce Comment magazine. Entrants also benefit from media coverage in the lead up to the event, and a profile in the awards programme on the night. It’s also a great way of recognising your team’s achievements.
“There’s no doubt the recognition we received from our industry peers and the local business community was immensely valuable, but the exercise of building and compiling our award entry in a collaborative process with our staff had the most enduring value for the continuing improvement of our business.”
Former Supreme Award winner Justin Hall of Redwood Cellars
Award winner benefits
Winners will receive a trophy and certificate for their category, as well as coverage in the Chamber’s communications channels and follow up media. Previous award winners regularly talk about how entering the award has helped to boost their business profile.
“The benefits to winning the supreme award have been ongoing for MyTax. It has given us increased credibility around the country, particularly when establishing new business relationships. The best thing to come out of the awards was the acknowledgement our staff received – even today our team is still proud that all their hard work was recognised in such an amazing way.”
2016 Supreme and Large Business Award winner Lester Binns, CEO MyTax
