The chamber’s new membership directory gives businesses the opportunity to create their own profiles and decide what key words should direct internet search engines to their listing.
Chamber chief executive Dot Kettle says the directory is a fantastic database of over 550 local businesses which anyone can access via this page on the chamber’s website . Every member gets a complimentary listing which looks like this;

“We’re asking our members to tell us what the key search words should be for their business. Every business is different and we want to ensure we use the most relevant search words for the products or services you provide.”
Your key search words will only be entered once you provide them to us. Businesses can pay $120 for an online upgrade as part of their chamber membership and this allows them to add a logo, a short (156 character) description of their business and include links to their website and social media pages. Here’s an example of what it can look like;
The keywords provided by Rezource were recruitment, administration, human resources and outsourcing.
