Everything you need to know to get started in Evaluation
This training course is intended to provide participants with the information and skills they need to use evaluation in their organisations. The training will provide an overview of what evaluative activities are (such as monitoring, review, self-assessments and formal evaluations) and the steps involved in setting up an evaluative activity. This includes how to begin planning an evaluation and engaging with stakeholders.
The Facilitator – Angele Toomey
Angele started her working life as a community development worker and since then she has worked in the public sector for over 15 years in Australia and NZ, with the last 6 years focused on evaluation. In 2012 Angele graduated from Massey’s Graduate Diploma in Evaluation with a Distinction. Angele has worked with the National Collective of Women’s Refuges to develop a national Outcomes Framework and currently splits her time between providing technical advice on evaluation and developing evaluation capability, systems and processes. Angele has a specific interest in helping non-evaluators understand how they can benefit from making evaluation an everyday part of their work.
Cost: $140 pp and $100 pp for charities/NFPs
All profits will go to Nelson Women’s and Children’s Refuge.
Morning tea, afternoon tea and training notes/handouts provided.
Lunch is not included, there will be a lunch break when participants can go into town to pick up lunch.
