The Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce has introduced an online system for certifying your export documentation. eCert is the fastest and most cost effective way to lodge and have your documents certified, without the need for couriers.

Resources
Country Profiles – the first step when carrying out your market research before entering a new market. These profiles will help provide useful information on doing business in specific countries.
Price Planners – putting together prices can be tricky when trying to ascertain all the costs associated with either importing or exporting products or services. The Employers’ Chamber Price Planners can help you by ensuring you know what costs you need to build into your pricing strategy.
Export Documentation Templates – Certificates of Origin – A Certificate of Origin is a document that can be used to satisfy your buyers that the products exported are wholly obtained or produced or manufactured in a particular country. The Employers’ Chamber also has access to other trade document templates that maybe required by members.
Letters of Introduction – If you are visiting an overseas market you may benefit from some assistance in getting appointments with the right suppliers/potential customers. A letter of introduction can help and they can be obtained free of charge by members.
Statistics – when putting together a report for your overseas suppliers/potential customers you could consider including the latest trade statistics to support your case. The Employers’ Chamber receives regular trade statistics that are available to members.

International Chambers – over 250 international chambers of commerce contacts around the world. These are organisations we have established a relationship with. Some are more proactive than others and we are in regular contact with while others have been used for one off trade enquiries. All contacts are stored in outlook and categorised by country.
Internet – we also have an extensive list of websites/databases that we use to find contacts e.g. buyers/suppliers in specified markets.
World Directory of Trade Promotion Organisations – produce an annual directory of all trade related organisations by country.
